in the end Purdue took over in the second half outscoring the Nittany Lions 45 to 26 in the last 20 minutes and ultimately pulled away to achieve a tough road victory Maggie what were your first initial thoughts on how the game played

Maggie:

00:00:44.935 – 00:00:56.28

out Yeah that first half was so exciting to see I think vince and I had made some big predictions on the pod last week about what we were gonna

Maggie:

00:00:56.48 – 00:01:25.81

see at this Purdue game and we thought that we just might just might be right through the first half And then the pretty team that came out of the locker room was a completely different team than we saw in the first half and they just um turned it on and I think really showed why they are the number one team and unfortunately Penn State is not the number one team but they sure

Maggie:

00:01:26.2 – 00:01:38.45

sure played like in the first half So you know a really abrupt momentum shift you could see some of the life draining out of the Polestar But yeah that first half was fun

Vince:

00:01:38.46 – 00:01:53.19

Yeah the first half you were definitely seeing a lot of magic from the palestra You saw Seth blondie bank of three you saw Jalen Pickett make a nice four point play pick It also had a couple of nice uh

Vince:

00:01:53.78 – 00:02:10.19

you know finger roll layups or he jumped and you know contorted his body awkwardly in there and somehow managed to make a really high degree difficulty of shot And you know before the half he had Zach seven for Zach Edie guarding him and

Vince:

00:02:10.55 – 00:02:29.63

you know pivoted around him jumped twisted extended his right arm as long as he could finger rolled and was just able to get it to him right before the half And I thought this was going to be a really big uh momentum shift and I thought that Lions were gonna ride this out to victory Uh

Vince:

00:02:29.79 – 00:02:59.03

you know the cluster is a magic place Penn State’s have have has had some big wins there including wins over michigan state in 2017 when they were highly ranked So I thought it was going to go that way today However the second half was really difficult Zack et he was completely dominant today as as expected Uh we thought that was going to be a tough match up to stop him defensively I thought the Nittany Lions did a pretty good job in the first half

Vince:

00:02:59.26 – 00:03:27.93

overall They forced him into some jump hooks which is what you want him to do However and the second half you saw them lose lose him in in in the offense and getting some alley oops and just some buckets that were way too easy There were times that we wasn’t boxed out and was just able to lay it in often missed shot So uh yeah definitely tough You can’t lose a second four guy in the paint

Maggie:

00:03:28.16 – 00:03:46.19

and you know not for lack of trying I think in the first half that we were throwing some defensive combos that were you know I think a combo of maybe being a little lucky and maybe being able to really just shut him down on ability And I think

Maggie:

00:03:46.77 – 00:04:07.41

we also maybe didn’t feel his presence as much on offense in the first half because so many of those um those long threes and those outside shots were falling And then you know second half when those just weren’t going in for the lions that was when you know when they would try to um

Maggie:

00:04:07.95 – 00:04:33.32

attack the paint That was where he could really make himself known defensively And I mean he’s a really strong player and he was someone we were talking about coming into this game and I think we were also probably surprised a little bit by some of the three point shooting that we saw from the guards on Purdue I don’t have their names smith maybe

Vince:

00:04:33.73 – 00:04:35.07

 smith and

Vince:

00:04:35.82 – 00:04:58.26

uh fletcher lawyer they were they were outstanding in the second half Purdue You know just came out guns ablaze and they made eight of their first nine shots and you know that included 33 So you know they came out in the first five minutes of the second half and they just punched Penn State in the mouth It was really really tough to watch and

Vince:

00:04:58.7 – 00:05:12.56

what made it you know especially tough was that Penn State did pretty well offensively those first five minutes they were just missing open threes and layups and they were they were getting good shots but they didn’t execute and finish

Maggie:

00:05:13.73 – 00:05:42.37

Yeah And then towards the end of the second half I think a lot of things just deteriorated for Penn State There were turnovers and just those kind of like bizarre place where the ball is bouncing off everyone and it you know goes from Penn State to produce back to Penn State and then over to Purdue and the possession changes so quickly and it’s just like you know it kind of looks like first grade basketball where it’s like wait who actually has the ball and like which way are they going

Maggie:

00:05:42.69 – 00:05:48.61

So there was just some sort of chaotic moments where I felt like oh Sheesh like this is just

Maggie:

00:05:49.27 – 00:06:11.21

getting away from Hens day and you know just hard to watch some things where it’s like oof that is something that we would expect a player to be able to follow through on that pass or complete that pass or catch that pass or make an easy shot and just some bumbling and confusion which is tough to see

Vince:

00:06:11.22 – 00:06:16.97

Yeah it was really challenging I thought that the big difference was in the second half they

Vince:

00:06:16.98 – 00:06:33.6

Just things they made things too easy for for Zach et and then Purdue was able to do a nice job from the perimeter They were eight from 18 from downtown so shooting out of 44% clip defensively you just can’t allow that got to do better Um

Maggie:

00:06:35.07 – 00:06:35.5

 Not

Vince:

00:06:35.5 – 00:06:36.76

 much more to it

Maggie:

00:06:36.77 – 00:06:51.74

I mean we do have to give due credit for walking into an environment like that and struggling in the first half and really being able to change their momentum and you know pull away especially in

Maggie:

00:06:52.5 – 00:07:15.86

you know I think this game was really hyped up for Penn State and there was a lot of discussion on the from the commentators about how this was you know really it really felt like a home game for Penn State So I think we do have to give Purdue credit for being able to make that big mental shift coming into the second half to really step up their game

Vince:

00:07:16.08 – 00:07:23.69

You know if you were watching on tv you saw how loud it was and the B J C Doesn’t get that loud that often

Vince:

00:07:23.89 – 00:07:50.24

So I definitely do like that we play this game in Philly once a year I think it’s really good because Penn State alum and around like new york or Philly or the D C Area D M V Area they can make a road trip and catching any lines when they might be a little farther away from Happy Valley So I think it’s really great Uh Penn State was able to pack the arena and really show the presence that Penn State basketball does have

Vince:

00:07:50.44 – 00:08:08.52

Um I think that’s something they should continue to year in and year out It’s it’s really exciting uh You know playing in such a historic venue Um So I think it’s something we need to keep rolling however we did run out of that magic in the second half per do you do have to give credit to them Uh

Vince:

00:08:08.93 – 00:08:31.73

They just had some really great defensive energy after they made that offensive run and they went eight for nine They didn’t shoot that well you know for the rest of the rest of the half But you know they played some pretty lockdown defense and uh you know kept Penn State at arm’s length the rest of the game kept it between 10 and 15 points and uh they didn’t didn’t let the lines climb back in it

Maggie:

00:08:32.65 – 00:08:41.32

Another person I think we do have to give credit to is you probably know where I’m going with this one But coach Shrews he could have

Maggie:

00:08:41.93 – 00:08:54.56

you know set this up to be a game that Penn State would have definitely won You know he could have pushed for an easier opponent or a different time in the calendar year

Maggie:

00:08:55.7 – 00:09:02.57

you know But he he really wasn’t he saying that he really invited per due to come to the cholesterol Well

Vince:

00:09:02.57 – 00:09:16.55

Yeah Purdue did have to agree but they would have played regardless because they are a big 10 opponent in the big time makes the schedule so they have to play who’s on the schedule But what they do is they look at the time period and

Vince:

00:09:16.73 – 00:09:38.37

um with students beyond being on break I think this is a great time produced a big program to have them play in a big place like the cholesterol So they would have played Purdue regardless It was just whether the venue would be the B J C Or the polestar A and you know they wanted to make the road trip to the palestra since the students weren’t there and they were on break and you know we have a lot of

Vince:

00:09:39.13 – 00:09:51.23

Penn State students that are from the Philly area or the Philly suburbs so they can go into the city for a day have a good time before they come back and you know continue the grind of classes in the spring semester So

Maggie:

00:09:51.24 – 00:10:02.42

yeah so what I’m getting at is that coach crews could have you know pushed to make the polestar game one that was against a different opponent you know at a different point in the year

Vince:

00:10:02.43 – 00:10:06.16

I mean it could have been Iowa but those would have been the only two that

Vince:

00:10:06.35 – 00:10:07.71

 that would have made sense

Maggie:

00:10:07.72 – 00:10:10.89

for like the one in at the very end of december

Maggie:

00:10:12.9 – 00:10:26.22

you know So I guess what I’m getting at is that this was a game with a lot riding on it emotionally for coach shrews in terms of his connection to Purdue we saw brad stevens was in the audience So I think we do have to

Maggie:

00:10:26.73 – 00:10:36.53

you know give coach cruise credit for really you know making making a big game and not being afraid to challenge a good opponent in a packed arena

Vince:

00:10:36.54 – 00:10:48.96

Yeah I thought his game plan was was good for the for the most part I thought it was a little strange that Eddie wasn’t doubled as much in the second half and they kind of just let him take over But then when they did

Vince:

00:10:49.28 – 00:11:18.59

uh boilermakers started boiling up and making some three So that was tough You know this this game got really heated and uh you know definitely tempers are flaring coach who’s picked up his first technical of the season So you know that that even extended the lead more and yeah Penn State was just overmatched in this one Hopefully they do love the film and they are able to uh you know perform a little better when they go back to Mackey arena and West Lafayette and have a better showing

Vince:

00:11:18.76 – 00:11:45.04

But until then uh you know they’re going to have to settle for you know the other team in the Hoosier state indiana hoosiers So they’ll be coming into the arena BJC Wednesday at seven p.m. If you can’t get to the B J C Will be televised on the Big 10 network And uh that’s where Penn State will have to kind of lick off their wounds and you know and move on But before we move on to indiana

Vince:

00:11:45.18 – 00:11:50.09

do you have a Mahoney Mahler that you would like to award the player of the game

Maggie:

00:11:50.1 – 00:12:12.81

Yeah definitely Jalen Pickett I think far and away The guy who kept Penn State alive in some of the harder stretches in the second half you know in the first half it was really exciting to see him firing and just you know getting so many successful looks and then I feel like he was really

Maggie:

00:12:13.15 – 00:12:27.5

the only player that only player in Penn State that managed to keep that momentum going into the second half So you know offense and defense Jalen Pickett does it all and sometimes it feels like he’s doing it alone out

Vince:

00:12:27.5 – 00:12:29.15

 there

Vince:

00:12:29.39 – 00:12:46.59

It is scary to think where the program would be without Jalen Pickett they definitely would not be executing at the level they are we are very fortunate to have them We almost had a triple double today 26 points nine rebounds eight assists 10 of 17 from the field and three or four from downtown And

Vince:

00:12:46.79 – 00:13:04.76

I do know like earlier in the season he did go through a little bit of a shooting slump and you know he was really only scoring around the paint and the major range and the threes didn’t seem to be falling but in the past couple of games pick has been able to hit from downtown So um that was huge He had a good game today for

Vince:

00:13:04.77 – 00:13:22.75

for the most part especially making some really difficult shots in that first half You know the percentage did kind of fall off in the second half Purdue you know really pressured Penn State that the defense they played was a lot tighter They took away Penn State space and Penn State doesn’t have the

Vince:

00:13:23.48 – 00:13:41.68

most natural ball handlers you know Jalen Pickett It is kind of rare that the ball gets taken for him but the other guys uh you know that you know if they’re pressure sometimes they do uh you know lose the ball and some turnovers are created Um so you know that you know it’s really difficult Um

Vince:

00:13:42.2 – 00:13:55.81

You know we also had a lot of guys that didn’t have good shooting days cam winter was one of five from the field Um so I picked him to have 20 points today that comedian prediction did not quite come through Um

Vince:

00:13:56.43 – 00:14:10.35

Andrew funk has one philadelphia catholic league championships back in his time Archbishop Wood but he was only one of eight tonight so tough out for him Miles was only two for 51 of four from downtown Uh

Vince:

00:14:11.55 – 00:14:29.7

yeah so now things are not going to go well when all those guys are not hitting threes And uh you know Purdue really locked us down on the perimeter and I think other teams are gonna try to you know look at that film and see what they did and had success with and uh you know kind of carry that on as they play Penn State

Vince:

00:14:30.26 – 00:14:56.31

but moved on to some more positive things I think I’ve made my finale fighter award to Evan Mahaffey He had 19 minutes tonight Really great performance Uh he got eight points two rebounds to assist also had three steals on the defensive end Really great output from the freshman He was four of six from the field but one of those shots was just a you know a

Vince:

00:14:57.08 – 00:15:24.6

garbage time three with you no less than 30 seconds left in the game already over So you know in a real game time he was four or five Uh they he made nice cuts to the basket pick was able to find him a couple of times for some dunks and layups Uh had nice drive of his own and some really nice deals on the defensive end So I feel like he’s really hitting his stride and getting better every game So that’s why I gave my Fidelity Fighter award to Evan Mahaffey

Vince:

00:15:25.37 – 00:15:55.27

and for the bird brawler Uh this has to go to Seth lundy Uh those were kind of the three guys that had really good performances today Uh Seth had 14 points five rebounds and 6 to 15 from the field to five from three including one Crazy Bank in that first half That was really fun to watch He had two steals defensively So he played hard and tough on the defensive end So I definitely think he’s a worthy contender for that Bird brawler award Um

Vince:

00:15:55.83 – 00:16:08.58

What were your thoughts on Cabot tonight So Kevin had 21 minutes four points one assist to five from the field one block one turnover What what were your thoughts on his

Maggie:

00:16:08.58 – 00:16:09.46

 performance

Maggie:

00:16:10.05 – 00:16:15.07

Oof I mean there are there are some moments where

Maggie:

00:16:16.18 – 00:16:23.41

CUba looked strong and he looked like he was effective on defense and he was able to

Maggie:

00:16:23.97 – 00:16:29.03

um you know also then transition effectively on offense But I think

Maggie:

00:16:30.11 – 00:16:31.33

 you know it’s

Maggie:

00:16:32.3 – 00:16:42.07

we really want to give freshmen a learning curve It is so so tricky to adjust to this level And

Maggie:

00:16:42.97 – 00:16:50.78

you know I think cubism someone that has a lot of pressure on him and has a lot of high expectations And I think

Maggie:

00:16:51.35 – 00:17:10.0

we sometimes still see some of those those rookie mistakes that we were hoping would be ironed out halfway through the season And that he has he also has a really great support crew of upperclassmen you know in Seth lundy and Jalen pickett and

Maggie:

00:17:10.38 – 00:17:38.19

miles Dredd and even people like Cameron winter and Andrew funk who are newer to the team but have that experience playing at this high level for so long And you know there’s there’s some things like you know we’ve all made silly mistakes playing basketball We’ve all dropped passes and miss layups So I think it is it’s easy to empathize when you see someone not quite

Maggie:

00:17:38.77 – 00:17:58.13

making it in the way that we had hoped and making mistakes that it’s like oof I remember making mistakes like that when I was playing and when I was transitioning to higher levels of competition So you know it’s like we’re really really rooting for him But sometimes it

Maggie:

00:17:58.76 – 00:17:59.86

 it seems like

Maggie:

00:18:00.5 – 00:18:01.96

 yeah

Vince:

00:18:01.96 – 00:18:22.96

he I have noticed over the past couple of weeks he has had a really hard time holding onto the ball And you know if you if you don’t catch the ball that’s oftentimes gonna create turnovers and your teammates aren’t going to pass to you That’s that’s just how it is You gotta catch the ball And I know that’s something I struggled with at times when I was younger in my playing career

Vince:

00:18:23.11 – 00:18:39.05

But yeah at this level of basketball you gotta catch the ball defensively I thought for the most part he did a pretty good job on Zack Edie who’s really in contention for one of the basketball best college basketball players in the country with his numbers He’s

Vince:

00:18:39.59 – 00:19:09.03

uh you know averaging almost 30 points a game and 13 rebounds Uh it’s really incredible three almost over two blocks a game He had three tonight So you know Edie that’s a tough guy to play against And I thought cuba held his own for the most part there were a couple of times where he rotated over to help his teammates and then left left Zaki the wide open for for a dunk So I thought there were some mental errors there But really it was kind of a

Vince:

00:19:09.27 – 00:19:31.97

you know how do you want to get beat that guy making a layup or Edie making a dunk and you know he helped out and help side I don’t know what Shrew told him to do in that situation and uh you know when he should help and when he shouldn’t uh not sure what the exact game plan was But yeah so I thought defensively he did pretty well uh

Vince:

00:19:32.6 – 00:19:58.26

offensively we’re still not seeing too much He did he did make one night shot tonight and then kind of got lucky in transition pick out of steel and then was able to find him down the court and you know he had a dunk to really break that long scoring drought that Penn State was going through and I really helped hope that that would be the uh the momentum swinger to get Penn State going However that wasn’t the case and

Vince:

00:19:58.44 – 00:20:02.76

you know they’re at times we were playing small ball and you saw miles Dredd guarding

Vince:

00:20:03.59 – 00:20:32.6

uh Edie and you know that’s just not gonna work He’s a foot shorter and he’s physical enough But you know just the length and the wingspan that’s he’s too big He’s too good in the post His postings are too good And ultimately in the end uh you know just executed their game plan better than Penn State and you know the result is what it is But I think we should kind of fast track forward uh to to the Hoosiers and indiana is

Vince:

00:20:33.02 – 00:20:38.53

uh really kind of banged up right now They have some injuries you know including uh

Vince:

00:20:39.26 – 00:20:58.2

Xavier johnson and race Thompson Those are you know two seniors on the Hoosier teams and they have really been missing their presence in the field The huge earners were undefeated heading into december including wins over Xavier

Vince:

00:20:58.71 – 00:21:06.39

and you know north Carolina tarheels So those are some pretty good basketball programs and you know really good wins However

Maggie:

00:21:06.92 – 00:21:07.27

 since

Vince:

00:21:07.27 – 00:21:30.29

Then they’ve had five losses and that is a lot especially for a team that is ranked number 15 in the country And you know all the you know the call the experts in college basketball are saying this team is great but this team has just as many losses as Penn State has been unranked the entire season So uh they had a tough loss at Rutgers they lost by 15

Vince:

00:21:30.68 – 00:21:57.16

Uh they lost to Arizona who’s a you know highly ranked program by 50 14 Kansas bloom out of the water by 18 So they’ve had some really tough games they blew a lead against Iowa they lost 91 to 89 And recently today actually today had a tough loss against Northwestern 84 to 83 Bowie and Chase Audi’s did a really good job you know bleeding them And uh you know

Vince:

00:21:57.67 – 00:22:16.58

Northwestern is a team like Penn State where they’re a little more guard driven they do have some forwards that can knock down some shots But uh this is going to be an interesting matchup because we don’t know what indiana team we’re going to be seeing Um you know they could be uh you know

Vince:

00:22:17.22 – 00:22:26.88

their full squad or it could be you know the guys are leaving them now and you know there there are two main guys that

Vince:

00:22:27.66 – 00:22:29.5

 they have our

Vince:

00:22:30.34 – 00:22:35.51

Tracy Jackson Davis and Jalen Hood uh

Vince:

00:22:36.2 – 00:22:48.36

fino so he’s a really good freshman guard he’s 66 and he does he really does everything for this team He stepped up for their their team and was able to score 33 points in their game against Northwestern

Vince:

00:22:48.68 – 00:23:07.24

Tracy Jackson Davis Uh he’s just a menace on the boards He he had 24 rebounds against northwestern and those are some Dennis Rodman like numbers when it comes to rebound So he’s really impressive rebounder plays a lot of minutes He’s I think he’s actually playing a little banged up

Vince:

00:23:07.53 – 00:23:32.58

So yeah he’s a he’s a tough guy a fighter scored 18 points He really does it all for the Hoosiers and uh so I think he’s kind of the main guy to watch out for in the paint I think uh Jalen Hood Chef pino is going to be the main guy who is looking to create shots for Indiana and uh I think he’s going to be the main score So I expect to see Jalen Pickett guarding him

Vince:

00:23:32.78 – 00:23:53.38

It’ll be interesting to see if coach Shrews goes small ball or not with Jackson Davis Uh He is their their tallest player listed at 69 So well we have cuba whose 6 10 guarding him in the post Or does Penn State go a little small and do they go Seth lundy who is 66 but you know definitely good enough to play defense against him So

Vince:

00:23:53.65 – 00:24:20.12

uh you know it’ll be interesting I think small ball is probably the way to go for Penn State in this matchup against the Hoosiers They are really good from behind the arc This team has six players who are 37% or better and they have five players who are 42% or better from behind the arc So this is a team that really likes to shoot the three and with how things looked against Purdue today

Vince:

00:24:20.48 – 00:24:32.66

um definitely does not make me feel super great heading into this match up into the B J C Uh Indiana is really desperate for a win They fall into one and three in big 10 play

Vince:

00:24:32.91 – 00:25:01.69

However Penn State’s desperate to their two and three will they you know have an emotional hangover or you know do they come back fired up Really go ready to go and able to take advantage of a bit a bit of a banged up Indiana Who’s your squad What are what are your thoughts do you think that Penn State uh is gonna be you know taking advantage or or do you think Indiana comes out with some fire and is able to uh get a tough road win in the bryce Jordan center

Maggie:

00:25:02.0 – 00:25:31.16

Well I guess we’ll see you on Wednesday But I think indiana from what you’re saying is is going to be really looking to pick up a win and feeling like they’ve been on a tough streak and you know I think so so as Penn State so I’m I guess I don’t know much about this indiana team but I feel like they’re gonna really come out fired up looking for

Maggie:

00:25:31.35 – 00:25:34.31

a big win And I think Penn State

Maggie:

00:25:34.86 – 00:25:38.82

could be the chance for them to do it but I could be wrong

Vince:

00:25:38.83 – 00:25:39.74

 Yeah

Maggie:

00:25:39.75 – 00:25:40.43

 I hope I’m wrong

Vince:

00:25:40.44 – 00:25:54.23

Yeah And this is one that I could definitely see going either way I watched a little bit of Indiana’s postgame conference today and uh you know what happened was they got in foul trouble relatively early Not necessarily

Vince:

00:25:54.24 – 00:26:10.52

A person but you know they got northwestern into the bonus about 10 minutes into the second half And from that point on they were just shooting a lot of free throws and they were getting a lot of straight line drives to the basket and you know kicking and fighting shooters for three and

Vince:

00:26:10.77 – 00:26:36.23

you know if Penn State is able to do that with Jalen Pickett and pick is able to draw a lot of fouls that will get us you know to the charity charity stripe and you know that will create opportunities for three point shooters If if the if everything collapses down in the paint picks gonna you know find the open guy and you know hopefully you know we get some threes going and if we get some freeze going then good things are gonna happen for Penn State

Maggie:

00:26:36.89 – 00:26:50.4

but it kind of seems like this is Penn State playing a team that’s really similar to themselves from from what I’m hearing from you they don’t have like indiana doesn’t have a super dominant

Maggie:

00:26:50.94 – 00:27:08.72

big man the way we’ve seen the past couple of games with like michigan and Purdue and it seems like they’re also a team that it can do really well from three So I feel like this is going to be a game where it’s like Penn State style versus Penn State style

Maggie:

00:27:09.23 – 00:27:16.62

and you know also probably pretty evenly matched ability wise so will be interesting to say

Vince:

00:27:17.97 – 00:27:20.49

yeah Um and I do think that

Vince:

00:27:21.19 – 00:27:34.14

they have a good interior presence like I would say he’s probably their best player Tracy Jackson Davis Uh so I think it is a little bit similar in the fact that you know

Vince:

00:27:34.84 – 00:28:00.04

you know they’re big guy is they’re probably number one or number two option towards scoring it’s just the difference And instead of being a you know a seven ft plus guy he’s +69 And so I just think that presents a little bit of a different matchup So it’s going to be someone who’s a little quicker and more athletic and um you know I’m sure has a lot of good post moves and mid range game So I think he is going to be

Vince:

00:28:00.29 – 00:28:25.38

really tough to block stop and he averages a 2.7 blocks per game on defense along with eight rebounds a game So he’s a guy you know he’s really great playing both ways so he’s a really great player Indiana has gotten in a lot of shootouts in this contest So I do think it will be a relatively high scoring game It’s just Penn State is going to really need to

Vince:

00:28:25.61 – 00:28:46.28

you know make the shots when they’re there and they didn’t do that enough today So um that that’s why the game ended up the way it did And uh you know Penn State will have to execute better from behind the arc and that will fix a lot of problems However at the beginning of the year you know we did say that this Penn State team was gonna live by the three and die by the three and

Vince:

00:28:46.61 – 00:28:57.53

just didn’t do quite enough today But Maggie comedian prediction What do you have for the Nittany Lions against the Indiana Hoosiers What is your comedian prediction for the

Maggie:

00:28:57.53 – 00:28:59.91

 game starts

Maggie:

00:29:00.6 – 00:29:02.55

 I will not elaborate

Vince:

00:29:02.56 – 00:29:12.61

some hot stuff there So Evan Mahaffey starts and do you think he’ll be at the center spot guarding Tracy Jackson Davis playing at the five

Maggie:

00:29:13.33 – 00:29:15.89

 I said I wasn’t gonna elaborate

Vince:

00:29:15.9 – 00:29:30.69

No no Elaborations Okay so is going to start according to Maggie yes or no prediction Alright my prediction is that I think we are going to see a

Vince:

00:29:31.39 – 00:29:49.92

bounce back performance from Andrew Funk Uh you know one for eight tonight couldn’t really get things going However I I predict that he’s going to make at least five threes in this game against the Hoosiers Maggie final score What do you got

Maggie:

00:29:50.59 – 00:29:52.74

 Let’s say Pen stay

Maggie:

00:29:53.39 – 00:29:58.0

 Mm 70 Indiana 66

Vince:

00:29:58.7 – 00:29:59.48

 Okay

Vince:

00:30:00.0 – 00:30:05.8

I’ll be a bit of the pessimist here I think Penn State will be a little bit

Vince:

00:30:06.64 – 00:30:29.8

hung over or you know emotionally from from this this performance against Purdue they definitely like really played hard They went all out in that first half and things just didn’t fall away in the second half and I think that the final score will be 84 to 79 I just think we’re going to have a tough time with all the shooters that indiana has and

Vince:

00:30:30.14 – 00:30:44.07

Uh they haven’t proven you know recently to be able to hit enough threes to win these tough ballgames I do think it would be close but at the end of the day I think it would be Indiana 80 for Penn State 79

Vince:

00:30:45.01 – 00:31:02.91
