Vince:

00:00:26.02 – 00:00:39.11

In their last 30 conference games over the past three years tied for best with Iowa not anymore Your many lines took care of business today on the road So Maggie what were some of your takeaway from this game

Maggie:

00:00:39.12 – 00:00:44.41

Wow that was such a fun game to watch I guess

Maggie:

00:00:44.78 – 00:01:14.57

I’m thinking that that was kind of the game that we hoped the Michigan state game could have been We were really hopeful going into that one That that would be a big 10 upset where Penn State could start to prove themselves against a tougher opponent and that didn’t quite um pay off for us last last week But this game against Illinois I think was worth the wait

Vince:

00:01:15.22 – 00:01:40.45

Oh absolutely Uh Illinois I think is even better than michigan state So the fact that Penn State got this one on the road and will potentially have an opportunity to sweep them will be coming back to the B J C On valentine’s day in february So I would love to see Penn State at the sweep here Um interesting change of strategy for coach Shrewsbury He went with his five senior guys in the starting lineup

Vince:

00:01:40.64 – 00:02:06.55

replacing Cable guy with Miles Dredd and you did not see a center today Uh tallest player in there was uh Seth lundy and Evan behavior at 66 Cable guy only gets two minutes We saw Dimitra civilly for one minute And you know coach Cruz got those guys out of the game pretty quickly What were your thoughts on the small ball lineup in this game

Maggie:

00:02:07.2 – 00:02:32.16

Yeah I mean I guess I’m I’m kind of of two minds with that It was on the one hand it was great to see and it was awesome to see all these mature players Guys that we have talked about on this show as just being really capable leaders on the court and to have them all firing on the same day It was really exciting to see So

Maggie:

00:02:32.45 – 00:02:58.86

on the one hand that was really fun to watch just to you know see everything click for them But on the other hand it’s like okay we can enjoy that for a season the rest of this season before Um we are gonna really need to rely on some of the younger talent So it was great to see that more mature squad get it done and I hope that that will really

Maggie:

00:02:59.03 – 00:03:17.06

set the tone for future games But in the back of my mind while I was enjoying the game I was also kind of thinking like Sheesh there’s a lot of guys out there that we’re gonna wanna count on in the future to be in the same position to pull off a big upset against a big 10 team

Maggie:

00:03:17.39 – 00:03:27.04

and they are not getting minutes So we got it done and it worked for tonight But I also was thinking about the future watching that What about you Vince

Vince:

00:03:27.05 – 00:03:41.65

yeah for the future you did see some different freshmen and than people were accustomed to So we’re more accustomed to Kayla Dorsey and Darlene Johnson However you saw more of Konya Clary and Evan Mahaffey

Vince:

00:03:41.86 – 00:04:11.57

Uh coming off the bench They didn’t do too much today I haven’t had a nice three had a couple of rebounds Um Clary took a couple shots but just wasn’t as successful on the offensive end Uh so yeah it was pretty much all the fifth year seniors you had Jalen pickett 40 minutes he did not come off the court They couldn’t afford to take them off Funk had 37 Lundy had 36 dread had 33 then he had cam winter with 28

Vince:

00:04:11.91 – 00:04:37.78

the you know the great thing today was that everyone had an on day when they needed to and things were working well This is a really fun game to watch in the in the first half there were eight lead changes So even if you were not a penn state or an Illinois fan it’s kind of what all fans want to watch Everyone wants to see a close competitive game with the lead going back and forth and um you know a lot of high scoring and that’s what we saw today So

Vince:

00:04:37.94 – 00:04:58.53

the Ally and I were really good on the boards early in the first half So they got some second chance opportunities Penn State did not take a ton of threes in the first half However they capitalized on all their opportunities there were six of nine in the first half and then in the second half they just really came to life at certain points in the game So

Vince:

00:04:58.71 – 00:05:18.51

you know this game went back and forth a lot in the first half and then late in the first half in the last four minutes Penn State on this went on this really great 11 to 2 run right before the half and it ended up being a nine point lead for Penn State and going into the halftime I was

Vince:

00:05:18.66 – 00:05:42.1

you know excited because it’s always good to have a lead going into half that’s that’s obvious But Penn State let’s face it last year And this year they’ve they’ve had a lot of leads and they’ve blown a lot of leads We’ve seen them come out firing on all cylinders knocking down threes and then in the second half get cold and just slowly lose the deficit and lose the game right at the end

Vince:

00:05:42.62 – 00:06:00.91

Uh it kind of looks like it was going to happen at points at points So we came out of the half scored the first five points got the lead to 14 Things are looking really good and then the lines go on this uh five minute scoring drought Illinois is just chipping away at our lead

Maggie:

00:06:01.7 – 00:06:01.9

 You

Vince:

00:06:01.9 – 00:06:20.69

know they got cut the lead to five points nothing is working And then all of a sudden you just see lightning in a bottle Uh you know there’s one second on the shot clock Jalen Pickett makes in balance past Andrews Funk running he just drains a three you know

Vince:

00:06:21.12 – 00:06:47.58

we come back to court again he hits another one and the Miles Dredd hits one So within a span of one minute we go on a nine oh run with three threes Uh Andrew Funk on a later possession hits an insane fade away and I was like what is he doing And really tough shot knocked it down mid range fadeaway jumper The miles Dredd hits one after that to make a 14 0 run And from that point on

Vince:

00:06:47.86 – 00:07:00.6

you knew it was going to be difficult for Penn State to below the 19 point lead We have seen Penn State below 20 point leads in the past However they were really competitive on the defensive end

Vince:

00:07:00.9 – 00:07:26.18

Um Illinois didn’t cut to more than 12 late in the game and the guys took care of business they did better from the free throw line today they were 80% 8 for 10 while Illinois was only six or 12 and at the end of the day we hit 50% of our threes which was huge They were 12 or 24 Illinois was only seven for 23 So

Vince:

00:07:26.45 – 00:07:39.27

we talked about earlier in the season how with Penn State they are going to be a team that lives by the three and dies by the three and you know today they were feasting And even though we had a small ball lineup

Vince:

00:07:39.8 – 00:08:07.6

We didn’t get killed on the boards today uh Illinois had 31 rebounds Penn State had 25 so uh they didn’t get killed there Uh they made up for it and steals though So we got out blocked 4-1 but we uh we had nine steals in Illinois only had four So the turnover battle did end up going in favor of Penn State we only had nine and were able to force 11 So that was really great to see

Vince:

00:08:07.8 – 00:08:33.48

Um you know when you have a small quick team and you can use that speed to get some steals on the defensive end where you might lose a little bit in rebounding and blocks on defense So overall great performance from the Nittany Lions This was everything you you hoped I hope the team could be at the beginning of the year Now I did think we would be getting some more post presence from cabbage I and Dimitra slowly

Vince:

00:08:33.99 – 00:08:35.91

 Caleb Dorsey but

Vince:

00:08:36.5 – 00:09:02.34

you know Coach Cruz just went with the small ball lineup it was work and he stuck with it and Penn State was able to get this huge victory The big 10 is just an insane conference They have 13 teams at this point that are still vying for NC double A tournament spots and it’s gonna come down to who wins the most Big 10 games because these are all almost quad one opponents And

Vince:

00:09:02.91 – 00:09:23.64

uh Penn State even though they blew a couple of games against sec teams who are very good they do have an opportunity to come back and get more quad one wins and build up that tournament resume So things are looking good for Penn State and they have to keep doing good forward going forward What are some thoughts on players of the game for you

Maggie:

00:09:23.65 – 00:09:27.86

Oh are we getting into the awards early Just going straight to the awards

Vince:

00:09:27.86 – 00:09:30.49

Yeah What are some things you saw that you liked today

Maggie:

00:09:30.5 – 00:09:32.56

Okay Things I saw that I liked

Maggie:

00:09:33.17 – 00:09:34.88

 I guess Um

Maggie:

00:09:35.99 – 00:09:46.98

so I don’t think I watched the very first game of the season where I understand Andrew Funk had a very good game So all of the games that I had

Maggie:

00:09:47.71 – 00:10:16.29

watch so far this season I’d see Andrew Funk make a few shots but he also missed a few shots but he never lost his confidence in his ability to make those big plays when it counted And I think today was the day where I I really was like wow this guy is awesome He is really confident everything is going in for him He’s showing this

Maggie:

00:10:16.57 – 00:10:27.16

maturity and this confidence and he’s having fun while he’s doing it And I mean I never I never doubted him but today I was like wow this is what

Maggie:

00:10:27.59 – 00:10:36.31

I’m seeing what I think coach crews hoped when he brought Andrew Funk onto the team So I think that that delivered today

Vince:

00:10:36.32 – 00:10:55.28

Yeah and that’s what everyone else sees in that locker room to They know Andrew Funk is a great shooter and when he gets hot he can get really hot and you know it’s dangerous for the other team when he gets hot because he can just seems to hit from just about anywhere I do think teams are you know view and Funk as potentially the best shooter on this team

Vince:

00:10:55.46 – 00:11:21.62

So I do think defensively they are trying to take that away I know Coach Izzo said he wanted to take it away and um he he definitely was not joking when he said he did not want to see this Penn State team again and he was just happy to get out of there with a win Um you know so some people and I thought oh that’s just Coach Izzo doing the political thing and complementing the the team and coach shrews and you know that that’s not the case we are are legit basketball team

Vince:

00:11:21.98 – 00:11:37.03

Um all of our losses are close we don’t have any games where it was just like wow penn state got their butts whooped today They haven’t had a single game like that all year They’ve just you know I’ve had a streak in the game where things don’t go well and they’re not able to do enough and

Vince:

00:11:37.63 – 00:12:03.15

uh they have that margin of air and today they did not have much margin of air against Illinois But you know the good thing is they didn’t make a ton of mistakes today and that had a big victory So you know things done well and really happy to see that Uh another guy I’m really happy with is is miles Dredd He was five for nine from three Um still waiting on his first two point field goal of the season

Vince:

00:12:03.54 – 00:12:11.8

So we’ll see if that comes that’ll be a fun thing to keep track of But yeah this is this is an awesome

Vince:

00:12:12.31 – 00:12:42.22

awesome game And really I think this is going to really spark penn state now that they have this the first big win under their belt and they’ve done it They finished the big game I think this momentum is going to carry them through the season Uh they have three nonconference games which will be easier compared to the games they’ve had over the past couple of weeks and you’re you’re going to see them work on that chemistry against Canisius and quinnipiac in Delaware State

Vince:

00:12:42.39 – 00:13:05.02

and this is a this month is really a great opportunity to you know fix all the stuff that they wanted to fix in the film versus michigan state And I think they did a really good job of that especially incorporating Andrew funk more And you know Jalen Pickett even said we have to do a better job of finding him and getting him involved in the offense and they did that today

Vince:

00:13:05.23 – 00:13:16.18

and you know credits Penn State they looked like a tournament today Andy Katz was telling us all that’s why he picked them to be an NC double A tournament team So um

Maggie:

00:13:16.19 – 00:13:33.87

I also think we we saw a lot a lot fewer turnovers and sloppy plays and those those kind of things that would were tough to watch in some games earlier this season when it’s like that’s just

Maggie:

00:13:34.06 – 00:13:42.19

a rookie mistake I mean of course there were some things where you know there were there was like a moving screen and some other things that were just kind

Vince:

00:13:42.19 – 00:13:56.19

of oh yeah that that Demetria slowly moving screen definitely a freshman mistake you have to plant your feet and be stationary And that that’s the responsibility of the ball handler to move their guy into the screen

Vince:

00:13:56.62 – 00:13:57.29

 It

Maggie:

00:13:57.29 – 00:14:00.49

wasn’t like a pattern the way we’ve seen in some games

Vince:

00:14:00.5 – 00:14:06.13

Yeah definitely definitely was not a pattern It is a little worrisome that

Maggie:

00:14:06.99 – 00:14:07.18

 you

Vince:

00:14:07.18 – 00:14:25.2

know we did have kept a and lily on the bench today and we just didn’t like seeing them too or Kayla Dorsey or Darlene johnson It was it was kind of strange to see those guys on the bench because they’re always getting minutes So I was really surprised to see that

Vince:

00:14:25.36 – 00:14:39.23

I think they’ll be incorporated more in these next three games as the team’s working on experimenting with what lineups work and I think they found some lineups that worked really well today and this really set them up good going forward

Vince:

00:14:39.98 – 00:14:45.53

Are you ready to move on to our finale Fighter Mahoney Mahler award

Maggie:

00:14:45.54 – 00:14:47.57

Yeah I think we can go for it

Vince:

00:14:48.2 – 00:15:16.9

All right So you might be unhappy with me because I’m I’m thinking I might be stealing yours But I had I had to go with Andrew funk He had a great day today seven of 11 6 of nine from downtown and he just hit it at a point in the game where Penn State desperately needed a bucket They went over five minutes without scoring a point Illinois was clawing back they came within a handful of points and

Vince:

00:15:17.11 – 00:15:42.32

that just was the spark that ignited the fire for Penn State And then after that first shot went in you know we did a really good job I think especially with the turnovers today I think this Penn State team is really good when they get in transition and it makes a lot easier for the three point shooters to get to get open and get good looks So I think their defense did Ben help their offense today and that that was really huge today and this tough gritty win

Vince:

00:15:42.49 – 00:15:50.79

on the road at Illinois So that’s why Andrew Funk got my Fidelity Fighter award Who do we have for the Mahoney Mauler

Maggie:

00:15:51.45 – 00:16:03.47

I think that Jalen Pickett is someone that we really haven’t talked about a lot on this pod today but I think that’s just a testament to the

Maggie:

00:16:04.17 – 00:16:21.52

the high expectations we have for him I mean Jalen Pickett goes into a game knowing that he’s probably going to be leading the team in almost every metric and he is someone that I think we can we really can consistently

Maggie:

00:16:22.19 – 00:16:42.81

expect to have a good game and he oftentimes is the maybe the only hope when everyone else is having an off game and shots aren’t falling But I think that his his consistency really you know really should be recognized and I don’t ever want to take him for granted

Vince:

00:16:43.31 – 00:17:11.65

Yeah The reason that we haven’t talked about him is because he’s awesome and he he does the same thing every game Like he’s just awesome every single game So when we’re coming on the podcast it’s we kind of talked about new things that we see and Jalen Pickett is always consistent He’s always awesome Now he’s only five of 14 against Michigan state and today he was nine of 17 from the field So you know pretty much doubled his shooting percentage almost and

Vince:

00:17:11.8 – 00:17:32.04

finished around the room So that was that was the big key There were just so many misses that he had so close to the basket that he typically makes So you know he just kind of clean those things up finished at the rim today Um Coach Izzo did say that they were trying to bring the center in to double team him whenever possible

Vince:

00:17:32.21 – 00:17:55.11

So maybe coach Shrewsbury took something away from that press conference and said hey I’m not going to use the center If I have everyone around the perimeter that can shoot that’ll let Jalen you know do his work around the paint and he’s gonna have not be double teamed and if they do double we’ll find a shooter because we got four other shooters out there So I think this is a strategy that does work for Penn state

Vince:

00:17:55.34 – 00:18:15.67

Um I would like to see kept out there more especially defensively when I watched him today I really liked how he moved on help side defense and he has really good timing with his blocks So he leaves the floor and times blocks well So that’s an area where he’s really shining

Vince:

00:18:15.93 – 00:18:42.53

uh in an area that he can improve his finishing around the basket He had like a shot one ft away from the basket and just couldn’t get it in and it wasn’t a super difficult shot But you know he’s young He’s coming in with guys who let’s face it all have five or six years of experience and you know he’s almost like you know the oddball out there you know with all those other seniors who played a lot of college ball

Vince:

00:18:42.66 – 00:18:47.76

and have so much experience and are playing the game at a completely different speed So

Vince:

00:18:48.44 – 00:18:55.55

He has a lot of adjusting to do Hopefully hopefully he’s able to catch up when we head into big 10 play in the new year

Maggie:

00:18:56.49 – 00:18:59.7

and I guess I’ll give out the award on Andrew’s behalf

Vince:

00:19:00.85 – 00:19:02.15

since I got to go first

Maggie:

00:19:02.16 – 00:19:25.77

Okay And I’ll say it and then you say if you thought this was who I was going to say 321 miles Dredd yep so I think miles Dredd also deserves an award today for just having so many I don’t know connections on those big shots that we really have

Maggie:

00:19:25.94 – 00:19:55.59

gotten accustomed to him making and he’s had some some games this season that he has struggled in So we were really excited to see him lighting it up today And then on the other end of the court he also had to step up today and I think he looked really solid defensively taking on some of the um the larger players from Illinois there was one point where we were watching and vince and I

Maggie:

00:19:56.1 – 00:20:16.75

both said to each other like wow that’s the fastest we’ve seen Miles Dredd run He was sprinting back So I think we we we love to see him connect on offense but we also I think do need to give give him due credit for the tough defense that he put up today

Vince:

00:20:16.97 – 00:20:26.24

Yeah I would say he’s probably in contention to be one of the toughest players on the team and he he just has a ton of energy So his energy is very contagious and

Vince:

00:20:26.99 – 00:20:41.38

like again this isn’t conventional basketball because you know most basketball teams play with the center but this lineup it has your five best players on the court and that’s what you want You want your five best players getting the most minutes and

Vince:

00:20:41.94 – 00:21:11.65

you know when they’re on the court good things are happening especially since there is such a gap between these 5th and 6th year seniors you know as opposed to you know these freshmen who are coming in and playing a completely different level of basketball So I think this these next three games especially with Canisius being only two and six I think let’s look at the young guys a lot of opportunities to learn and get some more game time action heading into the new year and then hopefully they can

Vince:

00:21:11.81 – 00:21:38.33

create their way into the rotation because it’s gonna be really difficult to be playing these guys all 30 plus minutes a game and you know having a short bench then you know let’s say an injury happens you know because that could happen and happen in michigan state even there they’ve had some injury issues and you know we need people who are you know experienced and able to step right in next man up So you know hopefully

Vince:

00:21:38.74 – 00:21:48.62

you know these guys grow over the next month and already in the new year and you know make their New year’s resolutions and execute a little better on the court as they’re continuing to

Maggie:

00:21:48.62 – 00:21:52.23

 grow I mean this this

Maggie:

00:21:52.85 – 00:22:20.36

this lineup that we had today was so much fun to watch But it also I think is not sustainable in the long term over the course of the season and especially not in the you know like we said injuries could happen foul trouble could happen We it was fun to watch today and I’m really glad that it all connected together and I don’t want to be all doom and gloom but we do have to make sure that

Maggie:

00:22:20.79 – 00:22:36.69

we do want to really ensure that the team is building towards long term goals And I really hope that this um this game was a confidence boost for the Nittany Lions and especially for coach cruise to

Maggie:

00:22:37.3 – 00:22:53.04

you know do something a little unusual and have it work out for him And I also hope that this maybe spark some ideas about different lineups and different combinations that can be really effective going forward So this is I think a good

Maggie:

00:22:53.59 – 00:23:05.59

a well needed confidence boost for the Nittany Lions And I’m hoping that this is the start of a sustainable momentum swing for the Nittany Lions not just a one off

Vince:

00:23:05.6 – 00:23:13.67

Yeah And another guy I think worth mentioning he didn’t make our awards but it was really competitive today because we had so many guys with great days was Seth lundy

Vince:

00:23:13.88 – 00:23:38.77

He had 16 points seven boards to assist five and nine from the field He got fouled on 23 point shots and was six of six from the line So that was huge He had two steals on defense So he had a great day as well Um and this Penn state team while they’re not super deep those five seniors are really good And uh

Vince:

00:23:39.06 – 00:23:57.46

I’m not looking forward to losing them next year Hopefully coach crews can get some more guys like that in the transfer portal And then you know those freshmen get better and you know we’ll keep this will become and will become a program like michigan state who’s in contention for Big 10 Champions Ships every year

Maggie:

00:23:58.02 – 00:24:09.18

And I will say I think last year you were like how will we ever get over the loss of john hera how will we fill the shoes How can we hey

Vince:

00:24:09.18 – 00:24:12.35

It’s just three pointers Three points is more than two

Maggie:

00:24:12.36 – 00:24:15.52

Well no but I do think last year

Maggie:

00:24:16.12 – 00:24:35.83

when john was such a large part of the Nittany Lions team offensively and defensively were like wow that’s a big big loss that we’re going to have when he moves on And I think we are not maybe not necessarily feeling that loss may be you know emotionally but

Maggie:

00:24:36.36 – 00:24:40.3

on the court I think we’re seeing players really step up

Vince:

00:24:40.31 – 00:24:58.19

Yeah yeah everyone loves john hera but you know we’re just we’re picking up from the perimeter now those shots are not going to fall 50% every game so they are going to have to find other ways to win And that’s why it is good to have a dominant big man down in the post because you know you can win in the post you can

Vince:

00:24:58.42 – 00:25:27.04

hit shots in the mid range you know draw more fouls they didn’t get a ton of free throw opportunities today they only got 10 that’s not that many So when you are and you know two of them were fouled threes which you know coaches that that’s one of those things that really grinds their gears is when you foul three point shooter and they’re just they just want to handle the face and going to the side So that’s the thing that drives coaches crazy that and that’s what six of our free throws out of the 10 were today So

Vince:

00:25:27.6 – 00:25:52.81

you know you got to be able to win in a variety of ways that the more ways you can win the harder you are to guard as a defense So the more challenges you present to your opponent so if we face the team and they’re doing a really good job of you know keeping picking out of the pain and you know making it difficult for our guards on the perimeter you know in their ability to knock down threes you know they could be

Vince:

00:25:53.02 – 00:26:09.71

and for some tough games However I do think since Jalen Pickett is so good at getting into the paint and finishing at the rim like he did today and finding open shooters and I think he really found a good balance today If he if he plays like that every every game we’re gonna win a lot of big time games

Maggie:

00:26:09.72 – 00:26:13.51

Yeah Makes you look forward to valentine’s day

Vince:

00:26:13.52 – 00:26:17.28

It really does anything else you want to cover before we get out of

Maggie:

00:26:17.28 – 00:26:18.89

 here Um

Maggie:

00:26:19.4 – 00:26:27.02

I I guess I like to give this shout out to but just a shout out to coach screws that

Maggie:

00:26:27.56 – 00:26:42.07

You know when you watch a lot of basketball you see a lot of dramatic behavior from coaches and some of that is passion and excitement and some of it is maybe a little I don’t know angsty and moody and

Maggie:

00:26:43.38 – 00:26:56.31

you know maybe not necessarily the most mature So I’m I’m always just really struck by how how passionate but also how compassionate coach cruises in the way that he coaches

Vince:

00:26:56.32 – 00:27:09.31

Oh yeah he’s a great guy And if you’re yeah if you’re a recruit um he’s a guy that makes you want to come here He’s got a you know an intensity of love for a game He’s a good exercise Another this guy obviously

Vince:

00:27:09.48 – 00:27:36.24

really good at developing talent He has not only a lot of college experience at Purdue but he’s got experience in the NBA with the boston Celtics and you know he knows what it takes to get guys to the NBA So you know if you’re a high school recruit Penn State is definitely up and coming spot to be So you know he’s done awesome Penn State’s next game will be against Canisius That will be

Vince:

00:27:36.52 – 00:28:06.1

december 18th Penn State does have finals this week so that’s why they have a week off of game So you know best of luck to the student athletes and their finals This game will tip off at noon on the big 10 network and hopefully we we see some big things from Penn State and I think we should give a little Communion prediction for our next game And I’m going to say that we will have five different players

Vince:

00:28:06.43 – 00:28:17.1

each hit multiple three So we’ll have five players with at least 23 point made field goals Do you have a Communion prediction for the game against two and six Canisius

Maggie:

00:28:17.11 – 00:28:30.58

Yes I predict that we get the KBG numbers we’ve been hoping for And by that I mean he scores 12 points

Maggie:

00:28:31.41 – 00:28:37.0

 And gets maybe seven rebounds

Vince:

00:28:37.01 – 00:28:51.36

Alright 12 points and seven rebounds for Cuba I like that prediction and final score I’m going to say um Penn State 88 and Canisius 57

Maggie:

00:28:52.0 – 00:28:52.3

 I

Vince:

00:28:52.3 – 00:29:09.58

think it’ll be a big wing in the B J C You know they’ll have a week of rest Uh You know they’ll be you know relieved after their finals and I think they’re just gonna have like this is finals as a grind for these student athletes We we’ve both been there are student athletes ourselves and uh

Vince:

00:29:10.8 – 00:29:25.15

you know just it feels good to play a basketball game after your work on your academics the most important academic week of your semester So you know I think they’ll be really looking forward to that game and uh you know kind of distressing from the week of finals

Maggie:

00:29:26.15 – 00:29:33.36

Absolutely hopefully they’re all fueled up with coffee from the library sending it out in the afternoons

Maggie:

00:29:33.94 – 00:29:43.92

Um My final score prediction I’m going to call it a little closer because I think I think Penn State is really gonna make the

Maggie:

00:29:44.66 – 00:29:51.03

I guess if we’re just seeing coach crews do all kinds of different combos I think next week we are going to see

Maggie:

00:29:51.89 – 00:30:13.01

A lot of younger guys getting a lot of minutes I don’t think we’re going to have that same same combo that we saw this week So I don’t think it’s going to be as much of a blowout as you predict So I’m going to say Penn State 72 against

Maggie:

00:30:13.85 – 00:30:16.33

 Canisius or Canisius

Maggie:

00:30:17.27 – 00:30:18.38

 60

Vince:

00:30:18.99 – 00:30:42.12

alright Still good numbers Uh I think it will be it will be good to maybe get jail and pick it and you know those other guys that are logging 30 plus minutes some rest because it is a long season and you know when you overplay them that you know you do get a lot of wear and tear and it’s a long season so hopefully we can get those guys a little bit of rest Um you know as they continue to gel as a

Maggie:

00:30:42.12 – 00:30:43.18

 team

00:30:43.66 – 00:31:02.58
